April 26, 2019- Stories Behind the Stones- This is a walking tour of the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Lou Bernard from the Lock Haven Express will narrate this tour and give some stories about the residents of the cemetery.
May 18, 2019- Members only chartered bus tour of Nippenose and Limestone Townships.
July 4, 2019- Historical Yard Sale and Open House with sno-cones and popcorn in the backyard.
October 12,2017 7:00pm -Samuel Moss House – This is the first business meeting of the year. This meeting will review last years programs, preview this years programs and assign committee tasks. A potluck dinner will follow the meeting.
November 10,2017 Annual military uniform display at the Presbyterian Church for Veterans Day service.
December 2, 2017 3:00-5:00pm- Samuel Moss House- Open House at the museum following the annual Town Meeting Christmas Parade.

March 4, 2018 1:00pm-3:00pm Samuel Moss House- Antiques Roadshow- Jersey Shore style Callahan Antiquities will be here. For a $3.00 fee per item, you can get a verbal appraisal on your treasures.
April 13, 2018- SOLD OUT!!! History Mystery Bus Tour 6:30-8:30 pm- This tour begins at Gazebo Park and features Lou Bernard as the narrator. Lou will travel back in time to over 300 years ago and tell you what was going on in the area. Seating is limited and is on a first come first served basis.

May 17, 2018- 12:00pm Annual Luncheon at the Jersey Shore High School presented by the J.S.H. S Culinary Arts program $20.00 per person Members Only
May 19, 2018- 6:30-7:30 pm- Jersey Shore Cemetery Tree Tour. This tour is in cooperation with the Recreation Committee of the Borough of Jersey Shore and is narrated by Tom Butzler of Penn State University and Master Gardener.

2016-2017 Past Programs
The Jersey Shore Historical Society is pleased to announce our programs for 2016-2017 year:
Sept. 17, 2016 3-5pm. Historic District Walking Tour- This program is a guided walking tour of the Nationally Registered Historic District and is in partnership with the Recreation Committee of the Borough of Jersey Shore.
Oct. 1, 2016 12-1 pm. Samuel Moss House- This is a general meeting with all members to meet with their committees and discuss their responsibilities for the year.
Oct. 22, 2016 11-1pm. Samuel Moss House- This program invites members and the general public to bring in and share pictures of the town or their home and neighborhood that would create a timeline to be used in a calendar and possibly a pictorial book. Discuss digitizing all your photos and slides for a fee of 20cents per photo/ slide on customer supplied memory card or flash drive.
Nov. 11, 2016 The Presbyterian Church-This program works with the Veterans Day program. The Society will display Military uniforms and related items in the reception room following the service.
Dec. 3, 2016 3-5pm Samuel Moss House- Open house. This program will coincide with the end of the Christmas Parade, and is in partnership with the Town Meeting Inc.
Jan. 2017 NO PROGRAM
Feb. 11, 2017 10 am-? Samuel Moss House- This program is a work day at the museum, involving photographing, cataloging and organizing all artifacts in the museum. This is an all hands on deck day. Lunch will be provided.
March 23, 2017 7:00pm Samuel Moss House- This program is a tribute to our local soldiers who fought in WWI. Carol Shetler of the WWI project will tell the stories of the names that are stitched on the WWI quilt.
April 27, 2017 12:00 pm. – Jersey Shore Senior High School- This is the annual dinner by the Culinary Arts curriculum. There is a fee charged and is for members only.
May 11, 2017 6:00pm Samuel Moss House- This is the annual meeting to elect officers, set committees and review the year. Pot luck dinner following the meeting. This is for members only
June 3, 2017 6:30-7:30pm. Historical Walking tour of the north side of the Historic District. Meet at Gazebo park
July 4, 2017 11-1pm HISTORICAL YARD SALE AND OPEN HOUSE. Samuel Moss House- This year we are having a yard sale with original newspapers from 1844, books, and copies of artwork from the Jane Spangler and Vi McLain collection. The 2nd annual open house with refreshments in the backyard following the Hometown hero banner presentation at the Recreation field. This program is in partnership with the Town Meeting Inc..
Sept. 23, 2017 7:00-8:00pm. Lantern Tour of Stained Glass churches. This event will start at Trinity United Methodist Church (uptown by Weis) and conclude at the Presbyterian Church on S. Main St. The tour group are invited inside each church for a historical presentation. Mardens Bus Co. will be providing transportation to each site and a ride back up to Weis. Please join us for this one of a kind tour.
