Happy 200th birthday to the Borough of Jersey Shore.
2026 is the Bicentennial year of Jersey Shore’s incorporation.
The museum is now open to the public on the first Saturday of the month (April-October) 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. All other times by appointment.

Artifact donations are accepted by appointment only.

Upcoming Events
We have special programs and events scheduled throughout the year.
Our kickoff program “Before the Borough” 1616-1825 was held on Sunday, February 22, 2026. this program was a history of the area and its inhabitants before the incorporation of the borough.
Future Programs:
Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. –“All Aboard” a history of different modes of transportation from the stagecoach to the railroad era.
Sunday- June 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.-“What a Mess” the history of natural and man-made disasters in Jersey Shore over the last 200 plus years.
Our programs are held in the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church (church with the clock tower), 235 South Main Street. The entrance and parking area are at the back of the church.
