Happy 200th birthday to the Borough of Jersey Shore.

2026 is the Bicentennial year of Jersey Shore’s incorporation.

The museum is now open to the public on the first Saturday of the month (April-October) 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. All other times by appointment.

Upcoming Events

We have special programs and events scheduled throughout the year

Saturday May 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. “Stories of the Stones” is a walking tour of the Jersey Shore cemetery. The tour focuses on the symbols and designs of the headstones. Gathering spot is the Soldiers and Sailors monument in the center of the cemetery. If you attend, please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. This event is held rain or shine.

Sunday- June 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.-“What a Mess” the history of natural and man-made disasters in Jersey Shore over the last 200 plus years.

Our programs (other than walking tours) are held in the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church (church with the clock tower), 235 South Main Street.  The entrance and parking area are at the back of the church.
