End of year business meeting is Thursday Sept. 19, 2019 6:30 pm at the museum.  This meeting reviews last years programs and tours.

New year business meeting is Thursday October 17, 2019 at the museum.

2020 is the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment. Jersey Shore played a part in the Women’s Sufferage Movement and our programs and tours will highlight the women of the Jersey Shore Area.  Please follow our FB page @JSHISTORY1 for updates on our activities.

The Museum is open for the season. We are open the second Saturday of the month mid-April- mid-October

Next tour-The Men Behind the Stones October 5, 2019 6:30 pm

This is a first in a series of Veterans’ grave tour of the Jersey Shore Cemetery.  This tour will focus on veterans from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Mexican War.  This tour is held rain or shine.  The tour begins at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.  Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather.

Our Historical Yard Sale July 4, 2019 11:00am-1:00pm was successful.  The Life magazines brought back a lot of memories through the stories and advertisements.

Stories Behind the Stones- Our cemetery tour on April 26, 2019 was a great success despite the tornado watch.  We may repeat the tour again.
