Our 2017-2018 Newsletter was mailed in mid August.  This newsletter lists the new officers and committees, along with the list of programs for this year.

We are pleased have Aleia Irvin return as an intern this year.

We have acquired the Indian Artifact collection of the late Todd Hager.  This was a gift from his Brother-in-law Steve Stevens and his wife.  The collection contains more than 400 pieces dating back 6,000 years.  The pieces will go on display in October.

The Society is working with the Recreation Committee of the Borough of Jersey Shore in publishing brochures of the walking tours.  We are also preparing to publish a brochure of the museum in the near future.

We are working on locating as many old Jersey Shore newspapers as possible and digitizing them for public viewing, and for Genealogy research.  More information is available on our  current events page.

Our next meeting is February 10, 2018   11:00am Samuel Moss House.  This is a business meeting with reports from the committees , new acquisition report, update on future programs.
