The museum is now open to the public on the first Saturday of the month (April-October) 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. All other times by appointment.

Donations are accepted by appointment only.

“The One-Room Schoolhouse: Salladasburg’s Legacy of a By-gone Era”

Sunday, September 21, 2025- 2:00 p.m.

This program highlights fourteen one-room schoolhouses that were feeder schools to Salladasburg Elementary School. These schools were the subjects of watercolor paintings done by local artist Jane Spangler in 1975.

Learn about the early education system, what student life was like and the duties of the teacher. Find out from original documents the responsibilities the caretaker.

This program will be held in the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church (church with the clock tower), 235 South Main Street.  The entrance and parking area are at the back of the church.

Saturday, December 6, 2025-1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Holiday Open House

Come and see the Moss House decorated for the holiday season.  There will be items for sale. Light refreshments will be served.
